Marvel Surprise: ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ Won’t Be Split Into 2 Movies
In some sense, the two-part film is nearly turning into two separate Avengers movies and Superhero Hype has revealed that Disney realizes that too.

Like the title of Avengers 4, that’s going to be something we’ll have to wait and see about, but Avengers: Infinity War will no doubt be one of Marvel’s biggest movies yet, and with D23 just around the corner, chances are the studio will clear things up in the near future.
[Image via Marvel] Production on both films will actually begin in Atlanta, Georgia this November with Infinity War shooting first and the second right after it. Anthony and Joe Russo will direct both parts after having the same position with Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Captain America: Civil War. Infinity Gauntlet doesn’t strike us as a very cinematic title, but perhaps Infinity Crusade could work because it will literally take an army of Marvel’s heroes from across all of its MCU films to take down Thanos. “We just haven’t come up with the titles yet”, he said. Release dates, however, are staying the same as when the films were first announced, with Infinity War coming May 4th, 2018 and the fourth Avengers film coming on May 3rd, 2019. But, yes, we will change it.

Screenwriters Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely will pen the scripts for the two features which directors Anthony and Joe Russo will film entirely in IMAX. The followup will then open on May 3, 2019. Famed composer Alan Silvestri is also on board to score both Infinity War and its follow up movie, after sitting out of Avengers: Age of Ultron.
