“Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” season three won’t be a fun one for the fictional peacekeeping group as they will be faced with more troubles from the Inhumans.
The return of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.is upon us, which means our lives will soon be filled once again with Coulson, Skye (sorry, Daisy), TV-level MCU action, and way too many periods (er, the punctuation kind).
Having their epic battle with Jiaying and her army of Inhumans during the Season 2 finale, S.H.I.E.L.D. The new season will also bring in new characters, including the ATCU (Advanced Threat Containment Unit) leader played by Constance Zimmer and her partner, Banks (Andrew Howard), plus new Inhumans Lash (Matthew Willig) and Joey (Juan Pablo Raba).

Fans and viewers of these characters, however, will not have that long to wait to learn as to what will happen next to May and as to what really happened to Simmons, as the press release of the second episode of the third season, according to ABC, will give us some insight into their fates. Season 3 images below, via Marvel, before the first new episode of the season premieres on Tuesday, September 29th at 9pm ET on ABC. Season 2, Phil Coulson handed Skye a folder with the label “Caterpillars” on it, which was a reference to Jonathan Hickman and Stefano Caselli’s secret warriors. While that show-titled Marvel’s Most Wanted-is only in the pilot stage, ABC’s interest in a further iteration of S.H.I.E.L.D.
