While Mary J. Blige stated that the date is “to be determined” on her petition, Kendu Isaacs seems so sure 9n his own petition that the date of separation is 25 July 2016.

According to TMZ, Isaacs, who served as Blige’s manager for the majority of her career, is seeking alimony from the Grammy Award-winning songstress after the couple announced their divorce this past July. Reportedly, he is also asking that Blige pay his legal fees.
The “No More Drama” singer cited irreconcilable differences for the split, with her rep noting, “Sometimes things don’t work how we hoped they would”.
The two jumped the broom in December 2003.
Mary is now prepping for her world tour with Maxwell and most importantly, a new album. Isaacs is dad to three children from a previous relationship. “After I met him, everything changed in my life”, she told Parade in 2007.
