Mary-Kate, Ashley Olsen Could Return for Fuller House After All
Despite the news that Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen would not be signing on to Netflix’s highly anticipated Full House spin-off, the streaming network revealed there’s still hope for Michelle Tanner to stop by.

Today, however, Chief Content Officer Ted Sarandos of Netflix offered an update, saying the Olsen twins could still appear in the series. Sarandos is the head acquisition for Netflix, said Tuesday morning at the Television Critics Association press tour in Beverly Hills, California. “There’s a bunch of stunt opportunity with them in the future …”
The actress took to Twitter to announce that she’ll be on the show as Danny Tanner’s wife, Teri! I assumed a presence was going to be some throwaway line about how Michelle was off being a world traveler or dating a French banker or something. He added that the show is “very much in the spirit of the original” and that when the cast appears on stage, the crowd reacts immediately. Steve Hale, Dave Coulier and Lori Loughlin, among others, will all be reappearing. The remainder of the series will then focus on a widowed and pregnant DJ raising her two boys with the help of Stephanie and Kimmy. He said that the first episode of Fuller House was shot last week.
And these are not the only characters returning for the Full House spinoff.
Fuller House was picked up for 13 episodes and will kick off in 2016 with a one-hour special to reunite the Tanner family.
The twins shared the role of the youngest Tanner from 1987-1995.
Cameron-Bure recently made headlines with the announcement that she will be joining “The View” as a co-host.
