Maryland football to debut ‘Black Ops’ helmets against Michigan

“While there is no timetable by which decisions must be made prior to the game, there are established protocols to address game postponements, suspensions and/or game rescheduling”, a Big Ten spokesman wrote in an email to MLive on Wednesday. “We’re all thinking about Michigan and trying to win at home under the big stage”.

“That’s news to me”, Edsall said Tuesday afternoon.

When it comes to wild, out-of-the-norm uniform designs in the Big Ten, Maryland tops the list. I thought Damian competed, played a whole game there at right tackle, didn’t have a whole lot of mistakes, played with a few good energy and effort. Niedermeier, a redshirt junior who had not started a game before this season, has effectively silenced that conversation. “Obviously something we hope he can build on”.

This is the first time Maryland will break out the all-black uniforms since 2012.

Rudock is best remembered by Maryland fans as the Iowa quarterback who threw a costly fourth quarter interception in a 38-31 Terrapins’ win last season. I’ve been happy with our leadership, and I’m glad they did that. “Of the three guys, he’s our one guy that’s had the least experience in it, and I see the improvement day-to-day, week-to-week”. “Whereas the teams we’ve been playing, they’re going eight or nine seconds a play … we got a little bit more time to be ready to go, we just have to match their intensity”. After starting out the year in more of a defensive midfielder position, Corboz has played more of an attacking midfield position of late, so he should see more goals in the second half of the season than he did in the first, but he still probably won’t be the main scoring threat.

The Big Ten Network postponed its scheduled “BTN Football Pregame” broadcast at Maryland because of the forecasted inclement weather from Hurricane Joaquin, Maryland announced Wednesday morning. Its forecast is uncertain. The Terps’ matchup with Bowling Green in early September had a lengthy weather delay because of lightning in the area.

Michigan is supposed to take on Maryland at Byrd Stadium at 8:00 PM ET this Saturday, but a few potential severe weather may force the Big Ten to switch up its plans.
