“I don’t know Trump, I know Ted and I’ve met Kasich a few times”, he said. Nearly half of Republicans like one but not the other – 23 percent have a favorable view of Trump but not Cruz, and the same percentage have a favorable view of Cruz but not Trump.
Kasich has won only his home state, to date, but his supporters in recent days have talked about the likelihood that he could win the nomination at the Republican national convention as a divided GOP gathers in July with no clear favorite.
Cruz’s condemnation of what he called “New York values” came to national attention during a televised presidential debate in January, and his rival Donald Trump, a New Yorker, sought to turn the comments against Cruz.
But Cruz, Trump’s only real challenger to get the magic number goal of 1,237 delegates, is only supported by 17 percent of voters in the poll. He shot back that those “New York values” are what helped people persevere through the horrific aftermath of 9/11.
“The nomination process has reached a point that requires someone familiar with the complexities involved in the final stages”, Trump said. They will no more pick him than they would pick me! Sanders would still face a hard task overtaking Clinton as the nominating contest, but Cruz’s double-digit win over Trump was seen as a breakthrough for Republican Party forces battling to block him. Clinton’s lead is slightly slimmer than earlier polls.

He added, “Folks, I think you can forget about him”.
Trump insiders describe his campaign as disorganized, and late to the game in some states like Colorado which elects more delegates today, and there are new developments overnight in the war of words between the democrats. Wyoming polls on 9th; NY is on 19th and on 26th, northeastern states of Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania and Rhode Island have their primaries.
