Maserati Levante exterior revealed
Leaked by Autoweek.nl, the Levante will be Maserati’s first SUV and was originally teased by the 2011 Kubang Concept.

No, that is not a typo, as we truly enjoy the look of the Levante, especially compared to most other premium SUVs out there, not including Infinitis and Mazdas. He revealed that despite having access to the wider Fiat-Chrysler group – including SUV-specialists Jeep – the Levante would be “100 per cent Maserati”.
The Levante picks up the brand’s styling lineage and runs with it… mostly up a mountain, which, funnily enough, is something you can do with this Maserati. According to the information published on the Dutch site, which has now been circulated all across the internet, there will be three engines at launch, a diesel and a petrol engine in two states of tune.
Maserati’s upcoming SUV, the Levante, leaks on the internet, and it seems that the automobile stays true to the patent images we saw a while back. An eight-speed automatic transmission will shuttle power to all four wheels through Maserati’s own all-wheel-drive system. This makes the SUV 0.7 seconds slower than the equivalent Ghibli model, despite having 20 more horsepower. The entry-level model accelerates from 0-62 miles per hour in 6.3 seconds, while the performance-oriented model accomplishes the same task in 5.2 seconds before hitting a top speed of 164 mph. There will also be a 3.0 litre diesel Levante (0-0-62mph in 6.9 seconds).
He confirmed the manufacture of pre-production models had already started, while customer Levantes would be built from February with delivery shortly after.

Following its reveal at the Geneva Motor Show debut the first Levante’s will arrive with customers in 2017.
