In a statement, Florida State University President John Thrasher said: “There are no words to express our heartache over this bad tragedy”.

Darlene Horton, 64, wife of FSU psychology professor Richard Wagner was killed when a Somali-Norwegian teen went on a knife rampage through Russell Square. The couple had planned to return to Tallahassee today, August 4, Pitts said.
Blockade line is seen near the attack site in central Russell Square in London, Britain, Aug. 3, 2016.
The police said three of the five have been discharged while two remained in hospital with non-life threatening injuries suffered in what the police called a “random” attack. Officers arrived at the scene soon afterward and the 19-year-old suspect was tasered and taken to a hospital.
People should be proud of police and “the British tradition of using the minimum necessary force” following the Russell Square knife attack, the country’s most senior counter-terrorism officer has said.
A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: “The murder investigation is being led by detectives from the Homicide and Major Crime Command”.
The couple were hours away from flying home to Tallahassee when she was attacked. There was no evidence of radicalization or terrorism motivation, Rowley said.
Zakaria Bulhan, a Norwegian national of Somali origin who moved to the United Kingdom in 2002, is due to appear before Westminster Magistrates’ Court tomorrow. “Those injured were Australian, American, Israeli and British”, Rowley told reporters outside police headquarters in central London, according to Reuters.
Met Police Commissioner Sir Bernard Hogan-Howe vowed to protect London, adding: “A normal night-out in our busy capital has ended in horrific circumstances”.
London Mayor Sadiq Khan praised the police for their swift action in containing the situation as he reassured the public that “London is safe”.

The mass stabbing comes just as the city unveiled new security measures: London police deployed an additional 600 armed officers Wednesday with a focus on counterterrorism.
