A massive gig has been announced by Massive Attack next year.
While the tour is the Bristol band’s first standalone headline tour in over five years, they recently played in Ireland when they closed the Longitude Festival at Dublin’s Marlay Park in July, 2014.
The band released their fifth album, Heligoland, back in 2010 – and they haven’t done a headline tour since.
Pre-sale tickets for the United Kingdom shows are available now from www.massiveattack.com before tickets are available at 9am on October 9.
The tour will kick off in Dublin on 19 January, before heading to Glasgow, Leicester, Leeds, Manchester and more.

It has been six years since they played an indoor Irish concert – two sold out gigs at The Olympia. There’s no official details yet, but the duo have told us that new music will be out “soon”.
