Massive fire at Tivoli apartment complex near UCF

Firefighters said the fire is under control and one firefighter was transported to a hospital.

The fire affected buildings No. 5 and 6.

The state fire marshal’s office is investigating. The Red Cross is helping with their relocation.

No one was seriously injured in the fire, officials said.

The fire was reported at about 2:30 p.m., spokeswoman Paula Thompson said.

Approximately two-thirds of the Tivoli residents are UCF students. Housing and Residence Life can be reached 24-7 on Sunday night/Monday morning at 407-882-5000. Victim Services representatives said students can relocate to Lake Claire Community Apartments on campus, where they can stay there free for three days.

Students may choose to stay with friends or family members off campus.

The blaze was at the Tivoli Apartments on Portofino Point in unincorporated Seminole County, just north of the Orange County line, officials said.
