Match Of The Day’s Gary Lineker gives TV strip show
In all honesty, they were hardly underpants, more knee-length shorts, that Lineker used to honour a promise he made that he would host MOTD in his smalls if his beloved Leicester won the Premier League last season.

If you wonder if this was some kind of drill, it wasn’t!
No one could accuse Gary Lineker of not keeping his word.
He said: “It is a one-off and a sporting miracle that has landed me in my underwear”.
His trouser-less appearance came after this tweet to his five million followers back in December following Leicester’s unlikely surge to the top of the Premier League table.
Lineker, scorer of 48 goals for England, had put one through his own net this time as Leicester romped to the title by 10 points.
Viewers took to social media to discuss Lineker’s interesting choice of dress and his physique.
If you ever, ever make a bet online or on Twitter, either delete it quickly so nobody will see it or be prepared to follow through on it because that’s what happened to Gary Lineker.
The 55-year-old opened show standing up wearing just white boxers with a large Leicester badge on the right leg.
As with all things, a Twitter account for Lineker’s underwear was soon created as they enjoyed their moment in the spotlight. With analysts Ian Wright and Alan Shearer alongside him, Lineker opened the show in his trousers before the football took over.
“They are shorts, not trousers”.

The show’s first game was Hull City against Leicester, with the champions losing 2-1.
