Matt Damon and Jimmy Kimmel return to couple’s therapy

As fans of the show know, Jason Bourne star has never “officially” appeared on Kimmel’s talk show, and their “feud” goes back 14 years to when Kimmel closed a show by saying, “Apologies to Matt Damon, we ran out of time”.

“We’re going to try to work out our problems like adults”, Kimmel explained.

When the therapist asked why they had made a decision to go to the session, Kimmel quipped, “It’s court-ordered”.

The freaky fighting has lasted over a decade as “The Martian” star has been part of a long-running joke by Kimmel, in which he apologizes to Damon for running out of time.

This second time around, Kimmel once again promised to try to find time for Damon which the actor. He even mentioned when Damon attached himself to bestie Ben Affleck to sneak onto the set during this past awards season.

“I do my best to get everyone on the show”, Kimmel retorted.

Damon, on the other hand, insisted that he had just been trying to get a spot on the show.

“There’s thousands and thousands of evenings that I’ve been just about to go on and then look what happens”, Damon griped. “We did this once before, we went to therapy together, it didn’t go very well”. “If he wasn’t such a jerk, you’d feel sorry for him”.

Talking to GQ, which is getting ready to publish an oral history of Matt Damon cover story for its August issue, Kimmel revealed some little-known details about his relationship with Damon. “I snapped, which I do”, said Damon.
