Matt Damon crashes the Emmys to make fun of Jimmy Kimmel
“I just wanted to see what you guys would do”.

During one pause in the trophy conveyor belt, Kimmel managed to make a freakish moment of things rarely combined peanut-butter-and-jelly sandwiches, the TV show “Stranger Things” and O.J. Simpson. “Here’s what I know: If you run a positive campaign, the voters ultimately will make the right choice”, he said, before adding, “That was a joke, get out of the vehicle”.
Finally, Kimmel made it to the Microsoft Theater with the help of Game of Thrones’ Khaleesi (Emilia Clark) and her drago, Dracarys, who breathed fire on Ryan Seacrest on the red carpet.
“I’m in between jobs right now”.
Host Kimmel returned to the stage after his late-night show lost in the outstanding variety talk series category to HBO’s “Last Week Tonight” with John Oliver.
After commenting on the diversity of the Emmy nominations in comparison to the Oscars, and after seeing Aziz Ansari and Alan Yang win the award for Master of None, he joked, “Now there’s nearly too much diversity in this show”.
Is it too late to make Jimmy Kimmel the host of next year’s Oscars – and, while we’re at it, the Grammys, Tonys and VMAs?
He then asks Kimmel what it’s like to be nominated-a self-effacing nod to his failed bid for the Republican presidential nomination, which was eventually won by Trump.
“Are you rooting for OJ to win this time?”
However he’s definitely a victor in our eyes for his hosting performance, the highlight of which saw him do a bit with Matt Damon immediately after Oliver had left the stage with his award. First, he was driven in a white Bronco by Malcolm-Jamal Warner, who played A.C. Cowlings in The People v. O.J. Simpson.
Given their history, it shouldn’t really come as a surprise that Damon, prankster that he is, took advantage of Kimmel’s big night to get in a few jabs. “You’re my freebie, you know”.
Kimmel then went on to blame Mark Burnett, the executive producer of The Apprentice, for Donald Trump’s rise in popularity.

“No. He would be at home quietly rubbing up against his wife Malaria while she pretends to be asleep”. He also warns the guests, “If you are allergic to peanuts, I guess this is goodbye, we could only afford one epi pen”. “Thank you.” The former “Seinfeld” star later saw her show win its second consecutive comedy series trophy. “You lost and you now you have to stand out here in front of everybody”. Kimmel later handed out juice boxes to audience members in case they were a little parched after their sandwich.
