Matt Damon is totally chill about video games now
Actor Matt Damon attends the premiere of Universal Pictures’ “Jason Bourne” at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace on July 18, 2016 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Now that Damon and Greengrass are back for this month’s Jason Bourne, the studio is keeping dangerously close to the exit door with a nice smile and a subtle, “You’re not going anywhere, assholes”.
So, it’s not a huge surprise that Damon would be asked whether or not he would want to don a cape to fight crime alongside his buddy of 35-years, Ben Affleck. Not letting that hold him back, what follows is one of the most exciting auto chases ever captured on film with Bourne taking the tiny vehicle where others can’t or won’t go i.e. down stairs, up sidewalks and of course into oncoming traffic. “In my heart, that’s where he is, as this person that I’m deeply deeply grateful came into my life and changed it for the better”, and whether the hot dog is a sandwich.
That’s not to say Matt has dismissed the idea of working with Ben again though, who has turned his hand at directing over the years and scooped an Academy Award for Argo, but fans may have to wait some time for a reunion.
“They weren’t interested. They made the [game] anyway, without my likeness”. “The problem there is that he just keeps giving himself the best roles, so until he stops doing that and maybe just directs, none of us can really work with him, the actor concluded”.
Pretty much the first time we really see what he is capable of in the franchise, this scene is kind of a template of what we expect from a Bourne film now.
“Hey New Yorkers, what if we do some peeling and get rid of the guns in the Jason Bourne subway ads”, Girls director and writer Tami Sagher wrote on Instagram.
There are few franchises out there right now that I love as unequivocally and without exception as the Bourne franchise that Universal has been keeping alive since the early aughts. “We were unemployed and we weren’t writing the script on a deadline either. There were things that he did where I couldn’t have got there in three lifetimes”.

“The thing about making these films is that they’re not like a normal film”.
