Matt Damon, Jimmy Kimmel address their feud in couples therapy
“The Martian” star Matt Damon has had it easier surviving on Mars than getting on Jimmy Kimmel’s show, so on Monday the pair finally tried to resolve their issues. While Kimmel defended the prolonged delay by noting his one-hour show has other guests, a band, a monologue and “important commercials”, the pair quickly started sniping at each other. “Listen, I understand his point of view, but he has to understand my point of view”, the show host says. He talks the talk. “He thinks the world revolves around him…. I mean, people laugh every time I say it…Repeating the same joke every single night, you’d think eventually people would get exhausted of it, but they don’t”.

The longtime frenemies attended couple’s therapy on Monday’s Jimmy Kimmel Live! Look at him, and he’s trying to be a movie star.
Watch the clip below to see Kimmel and Damon discuss the zoo Damon wanted to buy for both of them and eventually “hug it out”.
Damon responds that he’s angry about the assessment, but then admits he likes Kimmel, adding, “I wouldn’t have waited for 12 years to get on if I didn’t like the show”. Eh, probably not. But at least we should get another 12 years to watch the attempts.
The duo have had a long-standing faux feud on Jimmy Kimmel Live! For a decade, the late night host told his audience that he’d run out of time for an interview with the Academy Award winning actor.
Madonna stopped by for a profanity-filled visit to the “Late Show” in 1994, where she openly discussed her sex life. Their lively conversations always make for entertaining TV.
