Matt Damon’s ‘Jason Bourne’ Shocker: He Only Has 45 Lines Of Dialogue
There was some action and a bit of intrigue but nowhere near as strong as the other movies which hurts this one a lot.

It’s been nine years since Matt Damon last wore the all-black ensemble of Jason Bourne, the assassin-turned-amnesiac who only wants to be left alone.
As I sat down in the theater to watch the film, I felt like a kid waiting for Christmas morning, so excited about what surprises the next few moments will bring.
Tantalizingly, the film opens with the rogue agent saying, “I remember everything”. Bourne’s quest becomes bogged down with daddy issues as he discovers the truth about his father’s death – as if viewers couldn’t guess the answer he finds. “My guess is it will be a while before we’d get around to doing another one”. The studio tried extending the franchise with The Bourne Legacy, but we all know how that worked out.
Add the trademark hair-raising auto chases and ingeniously choreographed fight scenes, marrying beautifully with a complex and politically relevant globe-trotting plot, and you have another classic Bourne film.
Matt Damon has been famous almost from the start of his career thanks to a star-making, award-winning role in 1997’s “Good Will Hunting”.
In “Jason Bourne”, our man Jason knows who he is – but he doesn’t really know who he is.
The franchise is now having to repeat itself rather often and inventing more backstory for Bourne to uncover.
But how hard was it for Damon to get back into top physical shape 14 years after the first film in the series?
Here are five spoiler free reasons why Jason Bourne is the franchise’s best sequel. Somehow the movie is simultaneously frenetic and static, going nowhere really, really fast.
It’s a amusing thing watching a trailer for a Bourne movie as the appeal is always the mystery in addition to the action.
Jason Bourne has a attractive music which was composed by John Powell and David Buckley. “Jason Bourne” works to a certain extent, but it is far from the next big summer action movie or even a compelling story.

At this point, it felt forced. The conflict doesn’t show the audience anything new about the character; it’s just an excuse for Bourne to shoot some people and wreck property. Given how much the 45-year-old actor credits the series with, it’s a welcome homecoming. The movie definitely holds your attention. It’s rated PG-13.
