Jason Bourne was produced by Paul Greengrass, Matt Damon, Frank Marshall, Ben Smith, Gregory Goodman and Jeffrey M. Weiner under the banner of Universal Pictures. I have really liked his portrayal of Jason Bourne with each film giving people more of an idea of his checkered past and who he really is. While Bourne has gone dark, Ex-CIA operative Nicky Parsons (Julia Stiles) hacks into the CIA’s mainframe and downloads classified files that can help Bourne piece together the truth. The CIA is anxious he will blow the cover off of some of their secret operations, so CIA director Robert Dewey (played by the rapidly aging Tommy Lee Jones) issues orders for him to be taken out. They personify the distrust among government agencies and their personnel. Damon continues to be an worldwide star as the film also performed exceptionally well in global markets, especially in South Korea and United Kingdoms.

At 45, Damon still makes an agile and physically lethal Bourne who barely seems to have aged, even though it’s nine years since his last outing.
Jason Bourne is the fifth installment and it is so enough to hit the box office as the name is enough to hit and to create a craze among the audience. In the end, this movie feels too much like the same thing as the previous movies, bringing little new to the Bourne table. It’s hard to believe that it’s been nearly ten years since The Bourne Ultimatum gave the title character some closure…at least until the inevitable sequel. That means for all you privacy settings conspiracy theorists out there, this is the movie for you.

Matt Damon returns to his most iconic role in Jason Bourne. “I knew that if I had another Jason Bourne off in the middle distance, it would kind of rescue me and keep my career afloat for a few more years”. “Finally, we can let the films out there and see them alive”. There are some truly exciting moments that seemingly only a Bourne movie could pull off, and that’s great, but it would be better if we could put him in a different situation.
