Matt Forte: (Knee) Probable to Play Sunday
Richard Sherman and the Seahawks will take on the Jay Cutler-less Chicago Bears with the 12th man behind their backs. Seattle may have started the season 0-2, but those were high-degree-of-difficulty games.

Chicago opened the season with consecutive losses at home to the Green Bay Packers and Arizona Cardinals. They lost in overtime to the St. Louis Rams in Week 1, and lost in a good game against the Packers. Expect the Seahawks to get their big lead early and ride it out through the second half. These two have hit the over in eight straight meetings. It was previously called Qwest Field from 2004-2010.
But these are not the Bears of old and, while they didn’t get the start to the season they wanted, this looks like a team that will be better. The Bears are one of two teams – along with Oakland – yet to get a sack. Therefore, backup Jimmy Clausen, he of the 1-10 career record as a starter in the National Football League, will be at the reins.
A weird as it is to see both of these teams without a win, it was never totally expected from Seattle to be in this position. Which players need to show up big for a Bears victory? Clausen lacks a howitzer for an arm and the Bears certainly don’t want him pushing the ball vertically into the teeth of the Legion of Boom in a raucous road environment. His 202 rushing yards are the third-most behind only DeAngelo Williams and Carlos Hyde. Forte, who is averaging 5.2 yards per carry, has 271 yards from scrimmage. Jay Cutler has thrown for 345 yards and two touchdowns, but also has two interceptions. He gets up to work and he’s going to be as prepared as anybody on the field. It will be even more intriguing if Lynch is truly limited, with the carries then falling to Fred Jackson and Thomas Rawls. It wouldn’t be an ideal situation for Seattle, but even without Lynch they should be able to generate enough points to win. The Seahawks secondary will cause turnovers early and get the crowd in it to pump them up even more. Kam Chancellor reported to the team on Wednesday, after missing the preseason and the first two games of the regular season. This is his first time facing Wilson. The grandkids will marvel at the tales we tell them, backed up by the feats on film, and we’ve been here to witness this in real time. Finally (they cried), let’s get to some odds. That’s come playing against Aaron Rodgers and Carson Palmer.
The Seahawks are 0-4 ATS in their last four games, the second time that’s happened with Wilson under center.
Jeffery can win most one-on-one matchups. In his senior season at Illinois State, he tied for the team lead with nine receiving touchdowns, including two in the FCS National Championship game. The Bears are putting up 368.5 yards per game while allowing just 311 yards per contest. Inside linebackers Shea McLellin and Christian Jones will have their hands full with the 6-foot-7 Miami product. Offensive coordinator Bill Lazor recently has said that Matthews will retain the starting job. One thing that can’t be blamed on the Chancellor holdout is the way the Seattle running game has not looked like its old self so far.
“There are a lot of the same concepts, but there is a lot more variety”, Fales said when comparing Trestman’s and Gase’s offenses. This is about the defense as a whole and the problems that have plagued that group this season.

Beating the Seahawks without their top quarterback and receiver figures to be a hard task for the Bears.
