Matt LeBlanc is ‘Friends’ forever with Matthew Perry
Speaking to TV critics Wednesday at an annual summer event, LeBlanc said of returning to the heart-pumping vehicle show, “I don’t know”.

When asked about the state of “Top Gear”, LeBlanc responded, “I’m not sure what’s happening on Top Gear yet”.
It had been thought the former ‘Friends’ star would become the BBC Two motoring show’s main host, following the departure of Chris Evans last month. “There’ nothing officially happening just yet – call the BBC”, he added.
“That show has a pretty broad demographic”.
The pair weren’t exactly a hit with viewers and after plummeting ratings, Evans quit the show.
Evans said working on the show had been an “honour, privilege and pleasure”, and he had tried his best at the helm but it “was not meant to be”. “Everybody can relate to an automobile”, he told the audience.
He had been “a square peg in a round hole”, he added.
49 year old LeBlanc was part of an expanded team of six presenters and reporters, with Rory Reid, Chris Harris, Sabine Schmitz and Eddie Jordan constituting the line-up.
However, when Matt was asked how he would split his time between his upcoming CBS sitcom Man with a Plan alongside Top Gear, he admitted that he was still in the dark about returning to the show.
“Episodes” “was my first foray back at work after taking a handful of years off after “Joey” ended”, LeBlanc said.
The former “Friends” star was asked Wednesday whether he would return as a cohost on the popular British auto show, which got a makeover after the departure of scandal-plagued Jeremy Clarkson, who was accused of physically abusing a producer on the show.
