Mattek-Sands, Safarova win US Open; 3rd major doubles title

With the win, Mattek-Sands and Safarova close in on a career doubles grand slam, having hoisted trophies at the Australian and French Open previous year.

When they resumed, Djokovic earned three break points, but Wawrinka held for 4-1.
