Those close, physical games are the kind the Packers played with San Francisco and Seattle, after going 0-7 against those teams the previous three years. The Niners are struggling with a 1-3 record, after the game against Green Bay.
The Packers defense is really good While many people remember the Packers 2010 Super Bowl run as the coming of age season for Aaron Rodgers, just as important that season was the stellar play of the defense.

He got open and I was trying to find the receiver and the ball at the same time.
Tomsula acknowledged something is not quite clicking between Smith and Kaepernick. In the final few weeks before training camp starts, they can usually be found at Proactive Sports Performance in Westlake Village, California.
“Yeah, my body language was frightful at times”, Smith said. “There’s no point of getting down there if you can’t get touchdowns”.

The Packers did make it look easy at the start, moving 80-yards on the first possession, capping off a touchdown drive with a 9-yard scoring strike to Richard Rodgers.

PASS DEFENSE: A-minus. The same defense that offered little resistance to quarterbacks Ben Roethlisberger and Carson Palmer put up quite a fight against the Packers’ Aaron Rodgers, allowing only one touchdown and 224 total yards.
