May appoints 2 women to Cabinet posts
Speaking ahead of the visit, the Prime Minister said: “I believe with all my heart in the United Kingdom – the precious bond between England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland”.

The Prime Minister’s official spokeswoman said: “This is a bold Cabinet”.
Leadsom pulled out of the race over the leadership of the governing Conservative Party on Monday, leaving May as the only contender, effectively throwing the keys of Number 10 to her rival.
That came after Mrs May on Wednesday evening sacked Mr Osborne as Chancellor, telling him he was not wanted in her new Government.
Junior ministers who have worked with Mrs May like James Brokenshire could also see an elevation.
In her first speech as Prime Minister on Wednesday, Mrs May vowed to “fight against burning injustice” in Britain and build “a country that works for everyone”.
Theresa May insists she has created a “bold” Cabinet that has hit the ground running.
“Clearly we now have a massive opportunity to play a new part in Europe to make a great success of our new relationship with Europe and the World”.
Philip Hammond is chancellor.
The appointment of Johnson, an outspoken critic of British membership in the European Union whose political future looked to be in doubt after Gove, the justice secretary, essentially forced him out of the race to become prime minister, was met with some bemusement and concern overseas.
But the overhaul only resulted in the number of women in Cabinet climbing by one to eight, and some Tory MPs expressed confusion over who would control Brexit policy as three outspoken Leave campaigners – Mr Johnson, David Davis at the new department for European Union withdrawal, and Liam Fox, who was put in charge of International Trade – were all placed in control of different aspects of the project.
Chris Grayling, who backed the Leave campaign and was in charge of Mrs May’s short-lived leadership bid, was rewarded for his support with the Transport brief, previously held by Patrick McLoughlin who was named Conservative Party Chairman. Other ministers chose to leave the government. “We will do everything we can to give you more control over your lives”.
He said: “Most important is for the new administration to abandon the destructive austerity policies which have damaged our economy and undermined living standards for most people”. “It is vital that negotiations for Britain’s withdrawal from the European Union, in particular, reflect the broadest political agenda”.
May also had a 15 minutes telephone conversation with U.S. President Barack Obama.
His job of Work and Pensions Secretary went to Damian Green, who served under Mrs May at the Home Office for four years as immigration minister and policing minister until his surprise sacking by Mr Cameron in 2014.
