Pakistan’s reaction came after Prime Minister Modi launched a blistering attack on it Saturday in his first public address after last Sunday’s deadly Uri terror attack. She said that Modi’s speech did not give an assurance that recurrence of such incidents will be stopped. “Today, there is such as government in New Delhi that I am ready to accept your challenge”. “It seems Narendra Modi would be fighting the next elections in Pakistan rather than understanding the depth of anger which is there in the people of India”. In his 35-minute broadcast, the PM also wanted to specially “speak” to the people of Kashmir.

He said that Pakistan thinks positively and wants cordial relations with India.
“Kashmiris are stakeholders in the problem and should be included in any such talks”, the Pakistani envoy said.
Abdul Basit said that diplomacy should win between both the countries.
“India has never bowed down in front of terrorism nor will it”. Let’s compete to end poverty in our countries. “People of Pakistan and India will like this competition”.
The BSP chief also accused Modi of “emotionally blackmailing” the people of the country by linking the poor situation with the one in India. “Humanitarians all over the world have to unite and condemn terror”.
PM Narendra Modi reiterated that those responsible for the Uri attack will be punished. By speaking of Bangladesh, the PM reminded the Pakistani political establishment of a wound it has not yet recovered from and what India was capable of. The Uri attack is but a stage (padav) and not a result.
Russian media while citing military sources of India maintains that it became clear in the meeting that the leadership of the Indian Army did not want war with Pakistan right now and proposed to Prime Minister Modi to contact Israel or any other country that can provide fighter jets to India to face any eventuality.
He said that various elements in India are trying to deteriorate harmony in Pakistan.
The meeting took place after China assured Pakistan of its support in the event of any “foreign aggression” and also backed Islamabad’s stance on the Kashmir dispute.

The UN, the USA and its allies must take not only immediate cognizance of the Kashmir issue but also mobilise world opinion in favour of the subjugated and battered people of occupied Kashmir. In a statement, the US Department of Defence said that it has awarded Boeing a Dollars 81 million contract to supply 22 Harpoon missile systems for the Indian Navy’s Shishumar class submarines.
