It started in June, according to a news release from Indiana State Police, when Fledderman, 60, allegedly paid another man for sex acts.

Wigle-Stevens was also arrested. His home phone rang unanswered and he didn’t immediately respond to a message left on his office phone or an email.

Wigle-Stevens was also arrested Tuesday and charged with prostitution, intimidation and failure to disclose unsafe communicable disease status.

Judge days for Wednesday, both are required to become planned.

Court records do not indicate if either man has hired an attorney. He was elected to three four-year terms, but was defeated in the May Democratic primary by Elmer “Mike” Vonderheid.
