Mayor makes his Super Bowl pick

So this is the contrast in Super Bowl 50: a grinding, battling Broncos team on the one hand, and on the other an actual force in the form of the Panthers.

The Broncos have contested seven previous Super Bowls, winning just two and it is telling that in three of their five defeats they have been blown out – most recently two years ago when they were destroyed by the Seattle Seahawks.

The Panthers defense gets a bit of a bump wrap because of blown leads.

Everybody knows the Panthers scored more than anybody in 2015. Denver features a potent offense and an even better defense. Most sacks in the National Football League (52), this is common knowledge.

(Taylor Price/ Executive Producer): ” I don’t know much about either team but I’m going to have to side with the Panthers this year just because they’ve only had one loss, so people have told me. “This is what Peyton looked like back at the start of the season”.

Hunt will actually be in San Francisco this weekend for the game, as he’s set to headline with Super Bowl 50 NFL Tailgate Party at Levi’s Stadium along with pop superstar Seal. Cam Newton will be named Super Bowl MVP after a 19-26 passing performance where he racks up 216 yards and one touchdown. If I had any doubts as to how good Carolina is, watching them cruise through the playoffs changed that.

“As a coach at this game, if I have to go mention to my team about every article and everything that’s written each and every day, I don’t think I have to go there”, Kubiak said. Peyton Manning has gotten away with at least a few bad passes in the playoffs while under pressure. We all saw what happened to the Patriots and to the Cardinals without a running game. “So many players can’t say they’ve been to one, and I’ve been to three”. The NFL isn’t about who should win. Simply put, Jonathan Stewart and Mike Tolbert will need to be productive on Sunday, otherwise it’s Cam vs the world out there.

The Broncos and Panthers have only played each other four times in their history, and only once with their current quarterbacks at the helm.

Denver, meanwhile, was minus-4 thanks to 31 giveaways. Or will Peyton Manning head to retirement as Super Bowl champion in his final game?

Cam and the Panthers offense struggle early on against the Broncos stellar defense. “And actually, we had a draft party over there, too, when I got drafted”. The game was “over” any time the silver bar is displayed above the black dot. I think this will be a case of the hometown boy (Manning) getting one before he hangs up the helmet. The game should come down to the wire nonetheless. Cam Newton is playing better than anybody in the League.

He gives the Broncos more than just a puncher’s chance with his ability to read defenses, adjust and improvise. Then again, opposing quarterback Peyton Manning has no problem with this attitude. And also they haven’t won a Super Bowl yet so I think it would be really cool.
