The Republican front-runner’s response to criticisms of Vladimir Putin?
Six Gazeta journalists have been assassinated since Putin took office, and the circumstances around the murders have brought much scrutiny for the Kremlin. “He bombed an apartment building as a pretext to attack the Chechens”. He is responsible for the downing of the Malaysian airliner over Ukraine, because he provided the antiaircraft weaponry that was used for that. He’s the leader of the parties.’ And he said nice things….
On Saturday in Cedar Rapids, Trump said anyone who criticizes the warm compliments he has swapped recently with Putin is simply “jealous”.
“‘He is a very outstanding man, unquestionably talented. He is an absolute leader of the presidential race, as we see it today”.
Trump has never concealed that he approves Putin’s policy, including Russian military operation in Syria. How can we not welcome that?
“I’m not saying anything”, Trump said after drawing this exact comparison.

Jeb Bush – another GOP opponent and constant Trump critic – said during his own spot Sunday on “Face the Nation” that Putin is a “dictator” and a “bully”. “I’ve read those allegations over the years, but nobody’s proven that he’s killed anybody as far as I’m concerned”, Trump said on ABC’s This Week. “Who did he kill?’ [They say, ] ‘Well, we don’t know, but we hear that.’ I said, ‘Tell me, who did he kill!?'” And you’ve been able to prove that you know the names of the reporters that he’s killed? “But I haven’t seen any evidence that he killed anybody, in terms of reporters”.
“It’s never been proven that he’s killed anybody, so you know you’re supposed to be innocent until proven guilty at least in our country he has not been proven that he’s killed reporters”.

Russian Federation was No. 152 out of 180 countries in the World Press Freedom Index, in which it has continually ranked poorly because of the number of journalists killed and the dominance of state-run media. For his part, Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders knocked Trumps rhetoric in an interview on ABCs This Week on Sunday, accusing him of lying pathologically.I think, and I say this straightforwardly, I think you have a pathological liar there….
