If you think Donald Trump has been whining a lot, it may get worse after tonight’s NY primary.

So long, New York. Ted Cruz has been dominating the delegate conventions, and Trump would need a sweep in NY and California to even get close to the required 1237 delegates. Bernie Sanders continued to question former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s judgment for the country’s most powerful position. Ted Cruz. Cruz and Kasich hope to keep Trump below 50 percent in the congressional districts to keep him from sweeping the delegates. “And if you did that with elected officials, you’d be put in jail”. And he said the Trump campaign does not know “how to organize on the grassroots”, especially when it comes to the actual selection of individual delegates to the convention. “I’m the messenger. It’s not about me, I have the message”.

The New York Republican primary is Tuesday, with Donald Trump expected to win big across the state. However, he did acknowledge that getting to that point is “difficult” when he’s running against Kasich and Cruz.

On the Republican side, it was all Donald Trump, all the time, leading up to the primary.

Each of Georgia’s 14 congressional districts held conventions on Saturday to choose delegates to send to the Republican National Convention.

While Carson’s name will still be on the GOP ballot, any votes cast for him won’t count toward the delegate-awarding process, according to Conklin. In Virginia, our votes have been locked in for more than a month, but as this primary election continues to get tighter, republican delegates in the Commonwealth are already considering what happens if no one gets a majority. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) has threatened suicide and/or bodily harm at the thought of either Trump or Cruz being nominated, comparing the choice to being “shot or poisoned”. In Party leadership races and Party-run conventions, it isn’t uncommon for the Party to limit these roles to Republicans only – not to Democrats or Independents.
