McCoy on staggering Chargers: ‘We created this mess’
That hardly qualifies as news.

The Chargers are reeling and that’s not hard to tell. The AFC West-leading Broncos are 10-2. San Diego didn’t put up much of a fight on Sunday afternoon as Brock Osweiler and the Broncos traveled out west and took down the Charges relatively easily.
“My biggest thing in those situations, I want to know what you see”, Head Coach Gary Kubiak said.
Even though they’re battling for one of the top two spots in the AFC conference and are playing a division rival, this is still a letdown spot for Denver.
That’s hardly a resume-builder for a club to extend your pact.
Notably, McCoy and Telesco share the same agent.
Make sure to check back in tomorrow for our waiver wire pickups and rankings that could help you replace some of the injured players mentioned above. “I’ve known from the very first day they did it. I’m happy for Tom”.
But there was no front-office joy being spread McCoy’s direction. Winning three games in the final quarter of the season makes the playoffs a virtual certainty.
“I was not offered a contract”, McCoy said. I’d expect the Chargers to get worse and the Broncos to see a positive in that column.
Who will the Chargers bring in to coach the offense and the defense? I mean, he’s sitting behind me and Ronnie, and we always know Juwan can play.
McCoy wishes he could do the same. “You spend months and months grinding and training, going throw the pains to play 16 games”.
“I’m pissed off at the way we protected the whole entire game”, said McCoy.
“I’m disappointed with the way we protected him the entire game, not just that one play”. Rivers has four touchdown passes in his last three games. What are we going to get in the offseason. “That is a bad combination”.
Not only are the Chargers lousy, but their fans have little motivation not to re-sell their tickets to opposing fan bases.
If you’re anything like me, despite a historic regular season turnaround by the Kansas City Chiefs, you’re not yet convinced they’re bound for the postseason. Rivers was 18 of 35 for 202 yards and was sacked four times. Dunlap continues to deal with an ankle injury, and Fluker will still need to nurse his concussion on the sideline.
Inman was evaluated for a neck injury with encouraging results. He was immobilized on a back board and taken off the field on a cart.
A few plays later, cornerback Brandon Flowers was hurt. More will be learned on Wednesday about his condition. But you dislike him if he’s on the other side and you’re beating the crud out of him. It’s not believed he will be ready to go on Wednesday but that could change.
The Kansas City Chiefs (7-5) are coming from a 34-20 win over the Oakland Raiders. His pass-blocking was suspect as he was sacked four times and hit 15 – at least. Danny Woodhead and Stevie Johnson have combined for 1,090 receiving yards and six touchdowns while Malcom Floyd has 23 receptions. On the ground, Melvin Gordon rushed for 55 yards in 12 attempts while Donald Brown added 26 yards in seven carries. Combined, they had 134 rushing yards. Tackling remains an issue on the backside as receivers collect numerous yards after contact.
On defense, could the team just bring up one of the possible coordinators that is already on the team?

After a missed field goal on their first possession of the third quarter, a score on the following drive could effectively be a nail in the coffin against the Chargers’ struggling offense. The punt-coverage team allowed a 21-yarder and a 33-yarder came off a kickoff return. Neither returned to the game. You feeling sorry for yourself? Whiz did well with Philip Rivers and was able to lean on the run game on offense. All in all, it was a dominant showing by by the league’s best defense.
