McCrory will join Trump at North Carolina campaign rally

It came on the eve of Trump’s address to the VFW Convention in Charlotte Tuesday morning. But Monday night’s stop in Winston-Salem was the first to include Governor Pat McCrory.
Among his first remarks the crowd, McCrory told audience members to be safe and note where the exits are.
The law requires transgender people to use restrooms corresponding to the sex on their birth certificates in many public buildings and excludes sexual orientation and gender identity from statewide antidiscrimination protections.
After the noise died down McCrory added, “And if you have any questions, go to the Philadelphia convention where all of the Democrats are”.
Other North Carolina elected officials, including Sen.
The resolution will be delivered to Gov. Pat McCrory, the N.C. General Assembly, Charlotte Mayor Jennifer Roberts and the Charlotte City Council.
Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort said his candidate has momentum coming off his convention last week in Cleveland and the campaign believes “we can make make the case that we are the change” that the government needs.
North Carolina was a closely contested state in the past two presidential elections, adding to its status as a battleground this election.
