Goodman thanked McDonald’s for its support and said the actions of the employee don’t reflect the beliefs of the management, owners, or the company as a whole.

A woman was sacked from this McDonald’s in Brenham after she refused to serve a police officer, according to a Facebook post Thursday, July 28, 2016.
Brenham Police say they don’t hold a grudge. The officer was off-duty at the time having a meal with his family.
Another employee swiftly stepped in to take the order, and the individual who declined to do so was sacked shortly after. “She’s going to call the police department”.
“They’re supposed to be servicing everyone, and we have loved McDonald’s, and if they hadn’t I would never go again”, the female customer said.
The officer brought the incident up to his captain.
Goodman said the owners of the McDonald’s were notified and were “disheartened” to hear of the incident. Pictured in the photo above are: Capt. Dant Lange, McDonalds’ Owner Scott Munroe, Officer Terrence Johnson, Owner Sam Munroe, Chief Craig Goodman, Store Manager Kimberly Pavlock, Capt. Lloyd Powell, Cpl.
The officer at the center of it all is opting to not be identified, but Goodman says he’s one of the department’s best and a former Marine.
The McDonald’s franchise owner expressed regret in a comment under the Brenham Police Department post, which included a photo of a group of Brenham police officers standing by a patrol vehicle outside the restaurant Wednesday: “My family was very upset”, he said.

The chief though was urging people to accept the restaurant’s apology, move forward and continue supporting the business.
