McDowell wins in Mexico
The second-ranked South Korean star hit a 7-iron to 3 feet to set up a birdie on the par-3 16th, and made a 6-foot birdie putt on the par-5 17th. “After darkness suspends play tonight, we’ll resume at 8 a.m. ET Monday”.

Graeme McDowell wins his first title of the year by clinching the OHL Classic in a playoff.
“I got a text message lesson from Greg Norman on Saturday night and he said he watched a few of the coverage and he thought I looked a little short and a little quick”, said McDowell.
Jason Bohn was at 17 under through 12 holes.
He sprayed his drive out of bounds at the first hole on Thursday, reloaded and then nearly met the same fate with his second drive (his third shot).
Bad weather in Mexico forced the tournament into a Monday finish, with McDowell sitting on 19-under par overnight and in a tie for the lead with Scotland’s Russell Knox.
McDowell hit 3-wood off the tee and his caddie, Ken Comboy, talked him into a 5-iron.
Having pulled his approach, Knox was unable to match that – neither could Bohn – but the consolation from another splendid performance by the Inverness man is that he has now leapt into top spot in the 2016 FedEx Cup standings.
“I think if I just go out and do what I came here to do, I’d like to see where it puts me at the end of the day because if I just stick to my plan, I’ll be happy no matter what happens”. Am i not good enough?’ You ask yourself all the questions.
“It’s the game of golf, and it’s very hard”. “So when we started talking about moving, I said, ‘Let’s just take golf out of it. Where are going to be the happiest and most excited when we get on an airplane to go home?’ And we’re there”. “So I’m going to appreciate this one, because this year has been a grind”.
Knox won the HSBC Champions last week in Shanghai.
But he had nine birdies to reach 12 under, one ahead of Derek Fathauer.
