McGregor’s brutal sledge after Mendes suspension
Mark “Super Samoan” Hunt couldn’t contain his rage when addressing the potential anti-doping violation claims levelled at his UFC 200 opponent Brock Lesnar.

UFC featherweight star Chad Mendes has been suspended for two years by USADA after failing an out-of-competition drug test back in May.
That being said, if he’s been sensible with his savings then he should be better off than some of his counterparts would be in this situation given that he was given a bumper $500,000 payday for taking a short notice fight with Conor McGregor at UFC 189 a year ago (he normally earns $82,000 to show). And he kept it short and sweet.
According to USADA, Mendes tested positive for GHRP-6 (Growth Hormone-Releasing Hexapeptide), which is listed as a Non-Specified Substance on the WADA Prohibited list.
“I wonder was he on that stuff when we fought”, said McGregor.
GHRP-6 is part of a class of drugs called growth hormone releasing peptides.
Mendes’ last contest was in December previous year, when he was knocked out by Frankie Edgar inside three minutes.
Prior to his suspension, the 31 year old had suffered a two fight losing streak, with his most recent bout seeing him knocked out by Frankie Edgar at the Ultimate Fighter 22 Season Finale in round one of their 145 pound contest. USADA administers the UFC’s anti-doping policy.
According to the UFC statement, Sullivan voluntarily released the information to USADA and that “out of an abundance of caution” the promotion has made a decision to remove him from Saturday’s card.
