Dana White just made his first official offer to Floyd Mayweather to fightConor McGregor.

However, White did make McGregor and Mayweather a “real” offer of $25 million each plus a pay-per-view split if the two engage in a boxing match.
“There was no offer made before two minutes ago”, White said on The Herd on Fox Sports 1.
“Would Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor be the best fight you’ve ever seen?”
Although California State Athletic Commission Executive Officer Andy Foster has said he’d prefer that McGregor show his boxing skill against a qualified contender before taking on someone such as Mayweather, other state commissions are apparently interested in licensing McGregor to box too.
“His last fight did 350,000 pay-per-view buys”.
As far as expectations on pay-per-view, White could only speculate what he believes a showdown between McGregor and Mayweather could pull but he knows the crossover bout has limitless potential considering the kind of attention this fight would receive. “Floyd Mayweather isn’t going to fight him”. We’re the A-side. I don’t know how much money Conor McGregor has made. Ronda Rousey equaled McGregor’s UFC mark of $3 million for her December 30 loss to Amanda Nunes at UFC 207. And there was some real news to it, with Mayweather saying he had no interest in returning to face Manny Pacquiao once again. Considering the fact that Floyd Mayweather is 39 years old and retired Spetember 2015, fans are wondering if the fight is a mismatch.
Mayweather claims he will come out of retirement to fight the guy who is now recognised as MMA’s top star, Conor McGregor. His highest disclosed purse in mixed martial arts is $3 million, which is the highest purse in MMA history. This is just a toe in the water to see if anyone bites, but it is, as White said, “a real offer”.
Asked what a boxing match against McGregor would look like inside the ring from a competitive standpoint, Mayweather interrupted to say, “What’s understood doesn’t have to be talked about”.

“They know what my number is”, Mayweather said. “Because Conor McGregor will fight anybody, anywhere, any time”. Conor McGregor is his money fight.
