Rory McIlroy, of Northern Ireland, tees off on the 17th hole during the final round of the Deutsche Bank Championship golf tournament in Norton, Mass., Monday, Sept. 5, 2016.

McIlroy carded a final round six under 65 to finish 15 under for the tournament, with England’s Paul Casey second.
McIlroy began the tournament in 38th place in the FedEx standings and now stands at No. 4.
For the second time in his career, Rory McIlroy is a victor in the Bay State.
Casey had eagled the last on Sunday to grab a three-shot leading cushion as he sought a first PGA Tour win since capturing the 2009 Shell Houston Open.
McIlroy followed a bogey at his second hole with a triple-bogey at the 12th early in the first round at TPC Boston and left himself with a huge task just to make the halfway cut, but dug deep to salvage a level-par 71 which he followed with a 67 on Saturday.
“It’s just wonderful how things can change in this game from being three over par early in this tournament”, he said.
“I am really proud of myself for battling that first day, getting some momentum on Saturday and just going with that”. His round could have been even better, but he missed a few short putts and made a bogey on the par-4 17th.
The Holywood man produced a superb final round 65 to claim a two shot win in Norton, Massachusetts.
The competition features the top 100 players in the world.
Casey could not rise to the occasion after McIlroy’s showing put him under pressure, a two-over 73 leaving him to settle for second on 13 under.
Still, his runner-up showing moved Casey to 10 on the FedEx Cup points list and virtually assured him a spot at the Tour Championship.
He also changed away from the Nike putter to a Scotty Cameron mallet last week, and while he was toward the bottom of the pack at The Barclays, he was among the top putters at the TPC Boston.
Scott and Day are both well in the mix to become the first Australians to win the season long race, Scott a former victor of the Tour Championship the year before the FedEx Cup began in 2007.
Reigning PGA Champion Jimmy Walker was the bronze finisher, closing with a 70 to hold steady on the leaderboard.

“But things can turn around quickly in this game and they did for me this week”. “… If I could go out and play the front nine like I did yesterday, I actually ended up playing it one shot better today, I knew I had a real chance”.
