McLaren Special Operations (MSO) has applied its special touch to a McLaren 570S Coupe for the upcoming Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. A flagship P1 in Volcano Red and a 1998 F1 will both likely receive seven-figure bids. The first “by MSO” version features the Mauvine Blue paint finish coupled with a bespoke interior finished in Carbon Black leather with co-ordinating detailing, carried through from the exterior colour.

The specialist division of McLaren will display the two cars, four years on from its global launch in 2011, with the 570S taking centre stage as the first in McLaren’s Sport Series range.
Elsewhere at Pebble Beach, the British marque will be bringing along a 675LT and 650S Le Mans from the Super Series range.
The standard vehicle is capable of going from 0-100kph in 3.2 seconds and on to a top speed of 204mph (328kph). The 650S Le Mans takes styling cues from the 1995 racing auto, including a fully functioning door-mounted “snorkel” air intake, lightweight alloy wheels and front wing louvres.
An even more exclusive 650S Le Mans has been created by MSO to celebrate the 20th anniversary of a famous victory at the iconic French endurance race. Several features on the auto echo that original victor, while McLaren Orange paintwork pays homage to Bruce McLaren’s 1960s racers. Deliveries of the 650 S Le Mans are yet to begin, but despite a ticket price of £244,500 ($381,400 plus destination charges), McLaren says that every planned example has already been sold. Completing the line-up during the weekend will be a 1996 F1 GTR on loan from BMW North America.
