There are still 14 games to in the 2016 season, but go ahead and mark down the official time of death for the Buffalo Bills at 11:39 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 15.

-PASSING OFFENSE: B – After a bad Week 1 performance, the Bills’ offense produced several big plays in the passing game as Tyrod Taylor threw two lovely deep TDs – an 84-yarder to Marquise Goodwin, and a 71-yarder Greg Salas.
Last year, Roman’s first at the helm, not only did Buffalo lead the league in rushing – but Hampton native Tyrod Taylor blossomed as the Bills quarterback. That is the painting of him as a disgruntled assistant during his time working under coach Rex Ryan.
That’s not what was counted on from a unit that returned mostly intact and was expected to be more comfortable with Roman’s philosophies and playbook.
Any bets on Ryan being the first National Football League head coach fired this year now look very good.

Instead, Taylor has looked hesitant in the pocket and has had difficulty finding receivers over the middle. I wouldn’t have made this move if I didn’t think we would be better offensively and better as a team. That’s why you go for two and ensure that two touchdowns and two extra points from the Bills yields a tie rather than a loss. The Jets converted 8 of 13 third downs (62 percent) and the Bills were just 3 of 10.
That said, the throwback offense that Roman seems to propagate is a dying breed in the NFL. In two games, offseason free-agent addition has combined for 52 carries for 196 yards and added seven catches for 68 yards. “I’ve been around a lot of professional organizations and a lot of change like this in my career, but I believe in the guys in this system and the guys in this locker room”.
However, it went down, though, misses the bigger point in that Ryan has been an abject failure as a defensive-minded coach since arriving in Buffalo.
Roman was highly regarded by the Bills when he was hired.
You would think head coach Rex Ryan should be feeling the heat, but the NFL Network is reporting the ownership believes in Ryan long term. Former Bill Ryan Fitzpatrick had almost 400 yards passing in the Jets win.
Jim Harbaugh surely had some affect and input, but Roman previously served as offensive coordinator for the San Francisco 49ers from 2011-2014 and he should land on his feet somewhere.
It is getting very ugly, very quickly this season for the Buffalo Bills.

In fact, the Bills had six penalties for 59 yards and many of those penalties killed drives and further indicted Rex Ryan and his coaching staff. In March, defensive line coach Karl Dunbar was sacked and replaced by John Blake.
