Me Before You Trailer: Emilia Clarke and Sam Claflin Find Love Together

Love is in the air, what with Valentine’s Day just around the corner, and that means it’s the ideal time for Warner Bros.to try and get you to swoon for Me Before You. Despite being overly qualified, she begins to take care of an upper-class man named William Traynor, played by Claflin, who is wheelchair-bound following a devastating accident.

Here’s the synopsis: ‘Louisa “Lou” Clark (Clarke) lives in a quaint town in the English countryside.

Despite getting off to a rocky start during the beginning of her employment, the two soon find common ground. However, that hatred eventually evolves into friendship and the two form a close bond. Instead, it looks like an unapologetically sappy love story. Speaking to USA Today, Emilia Clarke revealed that she was head over heels from the off: “Actors can not invest too much in auditions”. “But this one I was like, ‘I’m doing it.’ I was madly into it. Every fiber of me felt like someone had written me down”.

Director Thea Sharrock captures the essence of Moyes’ book with help of the author who wrote the screenplay.
