Medical examiner completes Prince autopsy

The statement said that a “musical celebration” would be held in future but the star’s “final storage” was not for the public.

Prince died Thursday morning after being found unresponsive in his Paisley Park compound. Medical personnel were immediately called in and tried to administer CPR on him but did not get any response, it was chose to rush him to a nearby hospital however he then pronounced dead around 10:07 a.m.

The death of rock legend Prince has send shockwaves across the world as many mourned the death of a talented singer-songwriter at the age 57, but rumors are circulating that an overdose from a prescribed drug could have caused his death.

He said Prince was last seen at 8pm the night before his death when he was dropped off at Paisley Park.

The private ceremony was held at the Purple Rain star’s Paisley Park estate near Minneapolis.

A press release from the Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office said, “Midwest Medical Examiners Office will not release information until the exam is complete and all results are obtained”. Prince was alone, which Olson said wasn’t unusual because of the private nature of the reclusive artist.

Over the weekend, hundreds of fans, many of whom wore purple, showered the security fence surrounding the property with cards, flowers, stuffed animals and purple balloons. He was found by staff members who went to the compound the next morning when they couldn’t reach him by phone. The site said his plane made an emergency landing April 15 in Moline, Illinois, where he was briefly hospitalized.

It has today been reported that the police department have ruled out “Foul Play” as a cause of Prince’s death, with no immediate signs of suicide.

An autopsy was conducted Friday. The station says he thanked fans for coming, and said Prince’s family and friends appreciate their support. However, the results will not be released for a couple of weeks as they await the results of the toxicology and other tests. “In the middle of my depression and the terrible state of the music culture at that time, it gave me hope, he was like a light in the darkness…”
