Meek Mill gets 3 months house arrest for parole violation
Rapper Meek Mill has been sentenced to 90 days of house arrest- and no jail time- in his probation violation case.

Common Pleas judge Genece Brinkley also extended his probationary period to six years. The rapper attributed the violations to his hectic concert schedule. In an Instagram post at the time, Mill commented, “I’m actually fighting for my life and freedom…” Do you think the star will be able to stay out of trouble?
Meek Mill Visits Philly School Rapper Meek Mill visited Boy’s Latin School to learn about the school’s academic program. As a result of that conviction, Mill was ordered to five years probation. Hopefully, during his three months of house arrest, Meek can reflect and focus on his music. His parole was violated due to unapproved travel out of the area for concerts and appearances with his girlfriend, Nicki Minaj, who was present at today’s hearing in the City of Brotherly Love.

Nicki had previously tried to vouch for her man in a bid to keep him out of jail by testifying in his defence during December’s probation hearing, during which she insisted he was a transformed person. They also said he turned in cold water instead of urine for a drug test, making the judge question if a prior problem with painkillers was at issue.
