The judge found Meek Mill in “technical violation” of his probation for breaking travel restrictions and the reported cold water he tried to pass off as urine during a drug test.

However, Philadelphia common pleas judge Genece Brinkley found violations including Mill’s travelling to NY to perform in a benefit concert last month and meeting up with Minaj in various cities during her tour.

“I would never dishonor and disrespect you knowing that you are the person who gave me the shot to change my life”, he told Brinkley.

The 33-year-old singer has told the court that she wants to bring more structure to his life. Under the terms of his probation, Mill was required to obtain a travel voucher before leaving his hometown of Philadelphia. Mill was convicted, served eight months in prison, and then began five years’ probation in the fall of 2009. “Since I’ve come in his life, I think I’ve been working on that a little bit….”

Meek Mill has had a year to forget.

Mill said he has dropped old friends from his entourage to focus on his family and girlfriend. And defense lawyer Frank DeSimone says the couple is seriously discussing marriage.

His sentencing hearing is schedule for February when he will know his fate. “And those people are notoriously slipshod (at organization)”. He also broke down while telling the judge that he couldn’t leave the state to go see his mother in New Jersey while she was undergoing surgery. After one witness sang Meek’s praises… the judge said, “This court has done nothing but try to help the defendant”.
