A woman who decided to kill flies after her retirement in attempt of doing something useful for society.

According to the report, the woman from Eastern China, Ruan Tang, decided to do something useful for her society after her retirement. Then she started killing flies across the streets of her locality.
She has been doing this job for last 14 years.
In a talk she said “‘I had retired and was looking around for something to do to help the community and prove useful, and I noticed how much flies were troubling people in the summer”.
She added “I decided that killing flies was the best way for me to be useful – and I’ve been doing it now every day since”.
