Meetings could lead to Clinton-Sanders joint event

In her speech, Clinton alleged that Trump’s record in Atlantic City is a disaster.
Speaking on the city’s boardwalk in front of the now-shuttered Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino, Clinton offered a scathing attack of the presumptive Republican nominee, reiterating a case her campaign plans to double down on until Election Day: that Trump is not as successful a businessman as he portrays himself to be. The new policy proposal expands Clinton’s original affordability plan, which said that students would never have to borrow money in order to pay for tuition at public colleges.

The senator praised Clinton’s announcement of a proposal earlier Wednesday to tackle the rising cost of college tuition and the burden of student loan debt, calling it a “very bold initiative”. Sanders pulling Clinton to the left has made it easier for the party to coalesce around her.
