Mega Man successor Mighty No. 9 gets a February release
The news was made over on the Mighty No. 9 Kickstarter page where it was announced that the game would be released digitally and physically in North America starting February 9th, 2016.

9 is the spiritual successor of the Mega Man franchise, with series creator Keiji Inafune himself leading the development. Capcom still holds the rights to the famous blue bomber, which led to the conception of this brand new IP. Players were obviously excited, but that excitement was quickly tempered thanks to numerous delays.
Mighty No. 9 was originally scheduled for release earlier this year, before seeing two delays that pushed it to 2016, both at the very last minute. However, there are still bugs and issues pertaining to the online features that are included in the game.
This demo was promised as well, but was pushed back when the full game release date push back was announced. You may get your hands soiled when using the trial by way of Humble Bundle. A download link should be available.

Retail and digital copies of Mighy No. 9 will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Wii U. There’s still time to pull it all together and finalize a game that looks and plays great, or at least that’s what a lot of fans are hoping for when February rolls around. The 3DS version will come after that, with no specific release date given.
