Mega Millions rises to $31 million; Powerball jackpot tonight at $235 million

The Powerball jackpot has climbed to $235 million after nobody won the top prize in Saturday’s drawing. Three drawings have now been held since a New York lottery player won a $106 million jackpot September 11.

Powerball draws on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 10:59 p.m. The odds of winning the jackpot with a $2 ticket are 1 in 175,223,510. It has now rolled over yet again, and when the next draw takes place at 11P.M. EST, (4AM Thursday, United Kingdom time), one lucky person could be taking home this fantastic prize. Jackpot prizes must be claimed within 60 days after the draw to receive the cash option of an estimated $148.7 million.

The victor was only publicly identified as an Owings Mills resident, U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and father of four.
