Megyn Kelly Reveals What to Expect From Her Interview with Donald Trump
A one-on-one interview with Kelly and Trump is set to air Tuesday night on Fox News. “So, I’m grateful to him”, Kelly said. In keeping with the tradition of Walters’ prime-time specials over the years, Kelly took a more personal approach and asked Trump about his divorces, his brother’s alcoholism and his favourite movie and whether he was bullied as a child. “I mean, I know people are bullied when they’re 55 years old”. Footage of Kelly questioning Trump’s references to women as “fat pigs, dogs, animals…” was replayed, she revisited their Twitter war and recalled the history of their well publicized feud. Is that right? Wouldn’t you say? “If I were soft, if I were “presidential” … if I hadn’t fought back the way I fought back, I don’t think I would’ve been successful”. “Do whatever you have to do”.

“I have millions of followers at @RealDonaldTrump”, he said at one point. “In just about all cases, I’ve been responding [to] what they do to me”.
Mr Trump praised her for that, saying he had “great respect” for Ms Kelly’s willingness to make the initial approach.
USA Today said Trump acknowledged that he attacked the TV host through social media but noted that many of his fans also hated him for his tirades on Kelly.
Megyn Kelly confronted Donald Trump on his use of the word “bimbo” in tweets directed at her and he responded, “Excuse me”. “I don’t see that as a positive; I think it’s a negative for me”.
Something tells me that plenty of folks already feel that way about his campaign.
“I don’t really blame you because you’re doing your thing”.
Though watching Trump and his supporters attack Kelly over the months was “frustrating”, Brunt shared on “OutNumbered” on Monday that the presumptive GOP nominee was unable to break her.
One way Trump fights back is through Twitter, where he dictates messages to staffers who then tweet them.
“Do you want to stay with FOX News?”. Kelly said she hoped after this she and Trump could have regular interviews like she has had with every other presidential candidate, “except for Hillary Clinton, who refuses to come on”.
Trump said he has regrets about the way he acted during his campaign, but did not elaborate. By the time Trump appeared at another FOX debate in March, things were a little better between the two, if still icy. And, most harrowing of all, she admitted that she once touched Donald Trump’s hair.
