Meizu Announces the M3 Max With a 6-inch Display & 4100mAh Battery

Meizu has officially launched the M3 Max in China, the latest addition to the brand’s series of affordable handsets. The phone packs 64GB of internal storage that can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card. On the camera front, there is a 13MP IMX258 sensor on the rear with f/2.2 aperture and PDAF, and a 5MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture on the front.

Its 6in Full HD display is matched by a 4100mAh battery that supports fast charging.

Meizu has announced the launch of its M3 Max today. This phone runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with Flyme UI on top.

Meizu just last month, launched its first smartwatch in China – Meizu Mix. While reservations have already begun, the M3 Max will be available for purchase in the country starting September 15.

The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Helio P10 processor, with four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at a clock frequency of 1GHz and four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at a clock frequency of 1.8GHz. With the12V/2A power adapter provided within the package, the device can be charged to 45% in just 30 minutes. Does Meizu M3 Max offer an impressive hardware for the price? It also sports a 5-megapixel secondary front camera with f/2.0 aperture onboard for better selfies and video calling. The smartphone has a hybrid dual-sim slot and runs Linux-based YunOS.

With the color of gray, silver, gold and rose gold, the metal body of the M3 Max is manufactured using cutting-edge technologies such as double CNC highlighting and nano-injection molding to ensure smooth design and high durability.
