Meizu launches m3 Note for Rs 9999 in India

The Chinese company debuted in India last year with the m1 Note and followed up with the m2 Note later that year. The 5.5-inch display is a full HD offering with 2.5D screen.

The Meizu m3 Note continues to have the unibody metallic design and is powered by the 1.8GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P10 processor. The Meizu M3 Note price in India is Rs. 9,999, which fits with earlier expectations, and the phone is offered in Gold, Gray, and Silver colors. The Dual-SIM device accepts Nano-SIM and has dual standby mode.

The camera combination on the Meizu M3 Note includes a 13-megapixel rear camera with Phase detection autofocus, F/2.2 aperture, and dual-tone LED flash, and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with a F/2.0 aperture.

The Meizu M3 Note will compete against the likes of the Redmi Note 3, LeEco Le 1s, and the Zuk Z1. The rear camera features Corning Gorilla 3 lens protective glass.

The device has a fingerprint sensor with mTouch 2.1 technology (which is said to recognize the fingerprint in just 0.2 seconds) and there is a 4100 mAh battery that powers the phone. Up front, all four smartphones come equipped with a 5-megapixel selfie camera. Connectivity options include 4G LTE (with VoLTE), Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

The smartphone packs in a dual SIM slot with a hybrid SIM/SD card set up and runs Android 5.1 Lollipop with Flyme 5.1 OS running the show. The other major feature of this phone is its fingerprint scanner on the home button and which is claimed to be quite efficient and very fast.

Further, it comes with the world’s first TrueBright ISP engine for greater sensor light capture, enhanced colour resolution.
