Meizu launches MX5 flagship smartphone in India
19,999 (16GB inbuilt storage variant). and will be available for purchase on their E-Commerce Partner Snapdeal. The 32GB and 64GB variants, however, are now not available, but will be up for grabs in the near future.

Meizu told the attendees at a launch event in New Delhi that it has already opened over 40 service centres in more than 20 cities across the country.
Meizu being a new entrant, doesn’t have any service centers in India at the moment.
Not surprisingly, the smartphone offers a lot for its Rs 19,999 price tag, but here’s a big reason why you shouldn’t buy it – or any of Meizu’s smartphones for that matter – right now.
The Meizu MX5 was recently launched in China and has a full-metal body measuring 7.6 mm and149 grams. The Meizu MX5 has a 5.5inch full HD display and is powered by a 2.2GHz MediaTek 64-bit octa-core processor and is paired with 3GB of RAM. The rear camera is also capable of recording videos at a 4K resolution. There is a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture also on board. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, Glonass, and micro-USB. Besides, the smartphone packs a 3,150mAh battery along with quick charging support using the company’s mCharge technology.

This phone also comes with gravity sensor, IR proximity sensor, gyroscope, ambient light sensor, and digital compass.
