Meizu entered the Indian market a year ago with its flagship phone MX5 in August and has added the M2 Note and the M2 to its portfolio in the country. It is powered by a 64 bit 1.8 GHz Octa Core MediaTek Helio P10 processor with 2GB/3GB RAM. On the left side, the company has provided a slot for the hybrid SIM tray, so you can either put two nano SIM cards or one nano SIM card and one microSD card together. For instance, you could draw M to open music player, C to open browser and more.

The m3 Note is equipped with a 13-megapixel rear camera of aperture f/2.2 along with a dual tone LED flash.

If we were to pick the best-looking smartphone at under Rs 10,000 right now, it has to be the Meizu M3 Note.

Another day, another Chinese smartphone in the fray: this time round it’s from a relatively lesser known brand (in India) of the name Meizu. The secondary front-facing camera is 5MP also capable of capturing 1080p videos. The company does not offer the traditional navigation keys that are synonymous with Android devices, so there is just a home button below the display which also doubles up as a fingerprint reader. Unfortunately, we couldn’t test the fingerprint sensor on the phone at the launch.

“With a matchless combination of a 2.5D front panel and a metal unibody design, the Meizu m3 note offers a simplified and delicate visual perception while being smooth to use”. It supports dual SIM dual standby and offers 4G LTE + VoLTE along with other basic connectivity features. There are internal storage capacities of 16GB or 32GB and this also varies RAM specifications.

The Meizu m3 note running on Flyme 5 OS based on Android 5.1 Lollipop features a 5.5-inch full-HD LTPS display with 1080×1920 pixels resolution and a 403 ppi of pixel density. The marketing Head of the Meizu India explained that during the keynote users have to tap home button to go back, while pressing it then it will take them to the homescreen.

And the slim good looks have been achieved despite a massive increase in battery capacity. While in China, Meizu does have a pretty good identity, the Indian market hasn’t been really enthusiastic about the company.
