This news comes through TV Line, who previously learned in an interview with Gilmore Girls creator Amy Sherman-Palladino that the revival was trying to get all of Rory’s former love interests back.
Creator Amy Sherman-Palladino along with her writer-director husband Daniel Palladino and their Dorothy Parker Drank Here Productions are all on board for the reboot.
As fans may recall, Logan was Rory’s last serious boyfriend before the series ended, though they left things on a sour note after she rejected his marriage proposal and he set off to start a new job in California.
The actress and comedian quickly rose to fame, and has since played in a number of hit movies including The Heat, Bridesmaids and Spy.
After months of speculation, Netflix finally confirmed the revival on Friday, and Graham tweeted her excitement about returning to Stars Hollow.
However, McCarthy took to Twitter to share that she had not been asked to be a part of the show, but she wishes them all the best.
It’s official – Lorelai (Lauren Graham) and Rory (Alexis Bledel) Gilmore will once again be gracing television (and computer) screens nationwide.
The show is being produced by Netflix in association with Warner Bros. Well, here are the answers to all your questions about Netflix’s revival of Gilmore Girls.
Edward Hermann, who played Lorelai’s father, Richard, died in 2014.
We would give anything to see Sookie make an appearance – “where you lead, I will follow, anywhere that you tell me to”, right?! Agena and Kuroda said at the time that they were still recognized on the street as their “Gilmore Girls” characters.

Although the revival is already in the offing, there are still speculations as to whether or not Melissa McCarthy will be reprising her role as Sookie St. James, Lorelei’s best friend and business partner.
